Flowers of Love - FREE BOM From Me To You + a Give Away

Whilst recovering from my hand surgery over the past 4 weeks I was dreaming up a Block of The Month to share with you all. I have finally finished the design and have been able to stitch the first few blocks. Today to celebrate the first day of spring here in Australia I present to you "Flowers of Love" a 10 part Block of The Month free for you to download each month on the 1st.

Here is Block 1. All blocks are simple applique and stitchery designs which are quick and easy to complete. Block 1 comes with the entire fabric requirements for the 40" Square Finished Quilt and full easy to follow instructions for completing the first block and full sized pattern sheet. You can DOWNLOAD IT HERE.

Now you all know that I am a "Shabby" girl at heart but each month I will be showing you the block in both a "Shabby" style and a "Country" style. You can see how they look much different. A gorgeous friend has completed the first block in Reds - What colours will you choose?
To celebrate the launch I am giving away a complete set of blocks to 1 lucky Follower + the fabrics to complete the 9 blocks in either colour way shown. All you have to do is leave a message and blog about my BOM. You must also be a follower. You can use the Icon on my sidebar too if you wish. I will draw the winner on the 1st October when Block 2 is released.
I will set up a Flickr group in the next few days so that we can all see one another's finished blocks. Have fun with my gift to you.

Hi Fee, I'd love to have my name go in the hat for the giveaway please. I'm happy with whatever colour way you want to send me. This will be my first BOM that I've decided to do, that I've found on day one, so don't feel put off by the fact that everyone else is way ahead of me! I'm already a follower and I've blogged about the BOM, set up a reminder for next month already and I've also put a button in my sidebar (you'll need to scroll down a little way for it). Am going to find some fabric today for mine....if I win, I'll be making 2! Hugs Naomi

What a darling BOM, looking forward to starting it. Will give me something to do when I'm not in school or my studio. Would be so nice to win something, but enjoying your site is more important. Love the pics of the grandkids bird watching. Bless you for encouraging technology free activities so they will have better memories than just watching cartoons with grandma!
