Block 8 - Flowers of Love

Block 8 of my Flowers of Love Block of the month is released today - How are you going with yours?  Just one more block and then we will have the finishing instructions.  My quilt is currently at the quilters and will be finished ready to show you by the 1st May.  You can download Block 8 HERE.

Today my block in our "Among the Gumtrees" ----"Things We Love" BOM---- is released. This block is entitled "Friends".  Friendship is a very important part of all of our lives.  You can go HERE to download the block.

Look what arrived in the post yesterday.....  My 1st Block of "Berries & Bluebirds" - I am hoping to get the block put together today - Let's hope I can keep up each month and that this doesn't become another UFO.

I have been working on a few secret projects for gifts and swaps which are almost finished now.  I finally feel like I can see my way clear of my current commitments - That is a great feeling - a bit of freedom is good.

Here are my 2 adorable fur babies "Dreamer" and "Monty" (Montanna).  Monty is 12 years old now and is starting to get a bit vague....She really is an adorable old girl but Dreamer finds it very irritating when she won't run around the house and play with him anymore.  So we have a new kitten on it's way.  He flys into Hobart on Sunday I will be sure to introduce you to him once he has settled in.  Dreamer will love having a new "young" playmate and will hopefully leave poor old Monty to sleep in peace without being dive bombed. (If you have cats you will know what I mean)

Today is the first day of autumn and is only about 16 degrees celcius  here today - Very crisp and drizzling with rain - How on earth will I cope with 30 degrees + days in Brisbane on Thursday?  The girls tell me that they will keep me air conditioned - LOL  Let's hops so or I may just melt.

Love and Hugs - Fee XX
