Oh Bugger !!

Or words to that effect.  That's what I said as I was ironing a christmas gift this afternoon and the iron had been mistakenly set to steam and...... it spat out brown gunk all over the white hanky linen of someone's gift I have to get in the mail this week !  I wasn't very lady like that's for sure.

I had to get out my trusty EXIT soap - I think it has removed the stains (fingers crossed) but I won't know until has dried.

While I was scrubbing away I wondered if you had heard of EXIT soap before?  It is sold on-line in a few places and also Howard's Storage World - It is Made in Australia and is fabulous for removing stains.

And wasn't I a lucky ducky this week?  My SCCS gift arrived and I was very pleased to see that the sender was my friend Miche'le from NZ.  I was only chatting to her on face book the day before - She's a sneaky one that's for sure - LOL

And look at the gorgeous ornament she made for me.

 Isn't it special ?

And beautifully beaded as well.

I thought I might share a little corner of my garden near my front door with you.  The fairy is one of Maddie's favourites and she often chats with her.

And my new personal challenge.  I am going to try to weed 1 wheel barrow's worth of weeds every week next year.  That will be 52 barrow loads for the year.  That should make a big dent in it.

I thought I would start early.  So far so good.

Hugs - Fee XX

Thats an absolutely exquisite decoration Fee - you are quite deservedly spoilt :) Exit soap is brilliant - there is also a red and white pen (can't remember the name - will find out) that we sell alongside it that is also very good. I'm with you on the weeding - we just hit the raspberry patch tonight...its absolutely loaded with berries and chocca's with weeds...I think my challenge will be a barrow also (but I think monthly is more likely achievable for me).....xox

I've not heard of it, but it does make me wonder.. is this the cure all for those Frixion pens that write great on fabric for embroidery, and "come out with heat" or not so much.. but maybe what doesn't come out in the wash would come out with this?? :) But it isn't sold in the US I don't think.

Never heard of Exit Soap but should put it on my shopping list as I do have a tendency to bleed on my stitcheries. Love the Christmas Ball. I did a class on how to make one of those & after hundreds of little pins I had dented fingers. They do look spectacular though. Great idea with the wheelbarrow. I think we could all copy that one. Have a great week Fi. Tracee xx

Well done on the barrow challenge - one down, 51 to go.

Hi Fee - two good ideas in one post! I've never seen Exit soap- so must look out for it. And I love the weeding idea - though in my case I might modify it to some dreaded housework task - like dusting, a personal pet hate!

Oh Fee, I hope it comes out. Mys tain of choice is ususally blood from a ricked finger that I don't notice straight away. I have never heard of 'exit' so thank you. Lovley ornaments and gifts and a sweet wee fairy tto.

The ornament is gorgeous. So beautifully made too. Hoping the stains came out ok - you need commission for the sale of Exit soap, for spreading the word. Think we all need to go buy some.
Weeds - that is a good resolution to keep on top of them.
Take care. Hugs xx

Your wheelbarrow vow is a really good one. I publicly promise that I am going to try to weed one barrow's worth of weeds each week too.

Never heard of that soap either. Wonder if it is available
here in the UK? That ornament is gorgeous. Such a lot of work had gone into it. Good luck with the weeds. Hugs Mrs A.

And that's why I've stopped using the steam on my iron! Oh girl, I hope the stains came out. That soap sounds like a marvel. Love your gorgeous ornament from your friend! And your fairy is lovely. You should be in good shape by the time you get all that weeding done - watch out for sore muscles!
